Video production for plastic surgeons in Los Angeles
Plastic surgery commercials, a film that introduces the surgeon, and social media video cut from the same shoot day. Patient authorization and before-and-after rules are planned first, so nothing gets pulled after it posts.

Patients watch the surgeon before they call
Someone choosing a surgeon is choosing a person. A good film answers the first questions in a minute: who is this, how do they talk about their work, what does the office feel like. It is the thing a patient sees before the consultation, on your website, your Google profile and your social channels.
Surgery film and social media video we make
- Surgeon story film, 60 to 90 seconds: the surgeon, the practice and the approach, for your homepage and Google profile.
- Plastic surgery commercial: a 30-second hero spot for paid social, YouTube and broadcast.
- Procedure explainers: short vertical videos for Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts, one question per video.
- Practice film: the space, the team and the patient experience from the door to the consultation room.
- Patient story films, only with written patient authorization.
Procedures we plan videos around
The film follows what you want patients to understand. We plan scripts and shots with you for each of these, and you tell us what you are comfortable showing:
- Face: rhinoplasty, facelift and neck lift, eyelid surgery, brow lift, chin and cheek implants, otoplasty.
- Breast: augmentation, lift, reduction and reconstruction.
- Body: liposuction, tummy tuck, body contouring, fat transfer, Brazilian butt lift.
- Non-surgical: Botox and neuromodulators, dermal fillers, laser resurfacing, skin tightening, microneedling.
- Hair: hair restoration and transplant.
Each one can be a 60-second explainer in your own words, a vertical short for Reels, or a section of the larger surgeon film.
One shoot day, a month of content
The Social Spot is one half-day shoot that comes back as a 30-second spot, 15- and 6-second cutdowns, and vertical, square and widescreen versions. Add Content Edits at $800 each when you want a steady feed from a later shoot. Alexander directs, shoots, edits, grades and mixes the work himself, so the look stays the same from the first frame to the last post.
Patient privacy and honest results
Anyone who appears as a patient signs a written authorization before filming, since HIPAA treats patient images used for marketing as something that needs one. Before-and-after footage uses real patients, with consent, and is never retouched; state medical boards and the FTC both treat altered results as misleading. We build the releases into pre-production and your compliance contact approves the cut before it posts. We are not lawyers: your counsel has the final say.
How the shoot runs
- CallTwenty minutes: your procedures, your patients, where the film will run.
- PlanA one-page concept, the releases, the shot list and one fixed price.
- ShootIn your office or clinic, outside patient hours or around them.
- CutYou review the cut with your compliance contact, then we deliver every version you need.
The closest work
Alexander was the cinematographer on the Saelo films, shot for a skincare brand with its own treatment practice: lasers, injectables, microneedling and facials. He also shot for Dior and Chanel Fine Jewelry, and made the Bob's Watches national spot. What carries over to a practice is the lighting, the close work and the care around real people on camera. Tell us on the first call what you want to show and we will plan it with you.

Questions
How much does a plastic surgery commercial or surgeon video cost?
A Social Spot starts at $7,500 and includes the 30-second spot, shorter cutdowns, every aspect ratio, captions, grade, sound mix and 12 months of social use. A Commercial Campaign for paid media starts at $25,000. Content Edits are $800 each.
Can you film a surgery?
We film consultations, the office, the team and the scenes around a procedure. Filming inside an operating room needs the facility, the staff and the patient to agree in writing, and it is planned case by case. Many surgeons choose procedure explainers with recreated or animated footage instead.
Can you show before and after photos or videos?
Only real patients who signed an authorization, unretouched and with the results labeled honestly. Your counsel and your state medical board rules decide what is allowed.
Do you make social media video for surgeons?
Yes. Procedure explainers and short vertical edits for Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts come from the same shoot as the hero film, at $800 per edit after the shoot.
Where are you based?
Los Angeles, and we shoot wherever the practice is.
